My Approach

What you resist, persists – Carl Jung.

As humans we are designed to seek out connection and support. Whether from past trauma, old attachment wounds or difficulties navigating uncertainty, we can find ourselves “stuck” repeating the same struggles. This can result in intense feelings of emptiness and difficulty coping with life’s challenges. It’s when we resist our underlying needs and emotions or unconsciously reenact old beliefs, that we can encounter disconnection and resentment in our relationships.

I offer a warm, practical and grounded perspective to support your process of working through old wounds and moving through uncertainty. I take a holistic approach, which means I believe in working to connect the mind and body which includes working with physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts to cultivate deeper insight into your own lived experiences and to move toward a life of meaning and purpose.

I love to help clients navigate uncertainty and instability. My goal is to support clients become more grounded in their choices by working with clients to address barriers to accessing their own strengths as they navigate change and work through past trauma. This can include issues such as ending a relationship, changing careers, seeking a separation or divorce, and working to reclaim their sexuality.

I welcome a collaborative process with clients and tend to use a mix of Narrative/Relational / Attachment &EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy)/CBT (Cognitive Behavioral)/ ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) & Mindfulness and sex positive approaches to working with clients.
